I need to post really badly, but I wanted to do a quick drop-in now that it is officially Worldwide Knit In Public (week?). June 8-June 16th.
We celebrated with my local knit-night group today (Saturday). Part of our group knitted in public at a local town square and R and I and a couple other members went to the Memphis Zoo to teach animals to knit... :)
Seriously though --
This is S. she was often watched work by this curious guy.
We knit near the primates, and near the grizzlies, and finally near the polar bears.
A great time was had by all and I would encourage you to look for meet-ups in your area between now and next weekend!
